Light flows from side to side and from end to end of this 47-metre apartment. We're in an inner courtyard, so the noise of the city is only fantly perceptible. And we're on the 6th floor, looking over the roof of the building opposite to a wide view of sky, greenery, and architectural details, including roofs and the gilded spire of the Admiralty.
The apartment has a bedroom area (double bed), kitchen area, sitting area (sofa bed), and no doors (apart from on the toilet). .
Location: could not be more central. We're between the Hermitage and St Isaac's Cathedral. Our district offers a good choice of cafes and restaurants (I send our guests a detailed information sheet containing tips on where to to do what in the city), as well as very quick access to many of the city's most important sights (the Hermitage, St Isaac's, Nevsky prospekt, the river and bridges, the Kunstkamera, the Menshikov Palace). Literally just round the corner is the Alexander Garden, which fringes the Admiralty building and, apart from being one of the only green spaces in the city centre, makes an ideal way to get to the Hermitage or the river.
Kitchen / dining room: the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen adjoining a large dining room.
Rates: The nightly rate varies depending on time of year and number of occupants, and includes unlimited tea and coffee, and some help (where required) with getting to know St Petersburg. Discounts are available for artists, academics, and anyone with a good case to make.
